Testing .... testing ...

Henceforth to be known as the "Test pattern quilt"

Beehive quilt top

My Beehive quilt this year is vivid and bright.....and HUGE!!
For the first time in many years I'm planning to have this one professionally quilted. I don't really want to hand quilt it, and it is way too big to smoosh through my little Bernina.

My husband has said it is too busy for the bedroom (which was my original intention as the colours I chose were to match the Echino wall hanging above our bed).

He's also not sure about having it in the living room.
He's going to have to deal with it because I absolutely love it.

Thank you Beehivers for your stunning work!! Love you long time!!

  11. This week I went to the Australian Tapestry Workshop in South Melbourne, there was a tapestry just finished named---- Allegro --- I can see music in your quilt and the wall hanging there is so much going on there and I like it.

  13. It's stunning and so test pattern. I think it goes perfectly with the wall hanging but I can see where hubby is coming from. It's not very a restful design. Husbands tend to not notice things after a while so just quilt it and stick it on the bed. If you convince him it's just like watching the TV in the old days, he may come around.

  14. Oh, the inspiration you've given me to try something new! I love, love, love what you've done. Tell Dear Hubby it would look fabulous in the bedroom and he probably wouldn't see it for too long, because he'll be asleep (hey, it's worth a try!).
