I just couldn't rest until
it was finished.
I made the back using left over bits from the front and some solids I had in my stash.
The quilting is a new approach for me, thanks to inspiration from the fabulous
Ashley of Film in the Fridge. She uses this sort of random line quilting to wonderful effect. Like on
this quilt.
You can see the quilting much better on the back.
And for the binding, more scraps from the front. The scrappier the better, I say!!
I hope you're having a crafty Monday too.

Now that is absolutely gorgeous Andi! Of course I always love your colour combos - so lovely and bright and fresh.
I love this one so much!
And to answer the question from the other post: I would definitely love to learn how to make a quilt that didn't have to be perfect. X
Stunning! The quilting is awesome.
I'm LOVING that random approach!!! Very fresh and free, which compliments the vibrant colours in the quilt. GOrgeous!
I havevused that type quilting before and it looks beautiful. This quilt is pretty!
Wow, Andi, I really adore how this has turned out. I just love those Momo fabrics, so gorgeous :)
This looks fabulous. I love how the quilt came together, and the quilting is perfect. Love the back as well.
Looks great and I love the random quilting...what a great idea!
Love the pieced backing with the bright colors -- very pretty! I just started doing pieced backs this month. They are so addicting that I did three large quilts with the pieced back.
How gorgeous is this quilt??? I love it!

Love it! The quilting is brilliant, and I love the lots-of-variation binding.
I like it very much. Love the colours, love the back.
It's fabulous! I especially love the grey and pieced boarders. They make it all just pop! As much as I totally hate sewing on boarders, I think I wold do it for a quilt like this!!! That was the perfect way to use a layer cake and charm pack - wow.
and your quilting is so beautiful. i love this one so much and i would absolutely love to learn how to do that. you are amazing and so perfectly neat. i adore the machine quilting
i just finished a top quilt with Its a Hoot, too! i was also addicted to it, staying up late and working all day to get it done . . . must be something about the fabric.
