It's my first time joining in with Kirst's Thursday fun but it won't be my last.
This week, my creative space is all about Softies for Mirabel (another first for me).
With plenty of inspiration from here and here.
I made the faces in Word (because I don't have any decent illustration programs) and printed them onto fabric sheets. The rest I just winged. She's pretty large (about 17 inches tall) and super cuddly.
I'm sure she'll be well loved by someone small.
More fabulously creative spaces here!!

Yay, welcome to creative space (I've done it at least twice before ;-)
I'm a softie newbie too - but yours are looking very accomplished and the faces are fab!
She is fantastic... I am feeling all inspired too now!
well done you! I know what you mean with the word faces - i am often doing a 'workaround' - can someone sponsor me Adobe PLEASE!
Regardless your softies are gorgeous and lovely fabrics AND faces!
Hope you enjoy playing. I am always inspired by what is to be found
That's such a great idea to print the faces. I must remember that! Your babushka's looking lovely!
Your babushka is adorable. Lovely fabric selection too.
Andi, she's beautiful - I love her sweet face. I'm sure she will be really treasured by a small someone.
And I have to say three cheers for MS Word ... its my graphic illustration software of choice too (when I say choice, I do mean in the sense that I can't afford Photoshop!).
Hooray for seeing your new blog come up on my dashboard thingy. Love the dolly, especially the flower in her hair.
this dolly is so precious!!! i love her
She's so sweet! Well, done Andi. Can't believe you're a newbie at this... she's adorable.
I'm sure someone will be tickled pink to have such a gorgeous dolly!
That's funny, I never thought to make parts of the doll on the computer. I imagine I could photoshop a really cute doll! Yours is adorable. Thanks for the idea! :)
