Hello sunshine!!

I've missed you blue sky

The trees have missed you

The blossoms welcome you

The flowers are so pleased to see you

And my vege patch is itching to be planted and warmed by you

I'm so glad you're back sunshine. I can't wait to get warm again.

Fonts

A few people mistook the writing on my last post for my own handwriting.
When they found out it was actually printed from the computer, they wanted to know what fonts I was using.

Thought I'd share my little secret here:
http://www.dafont.com/

Quite literally a font of goodness with thousands of FREE fonts to explore.

The fonts I have used in this project include:

  • Miama
  • Jellyka - St-Andrew's Queen
  • Sunshine in my soul
  • MA Sexy
  • The Quickest Shift ... and
  • Upirpaw
Have fun exploring this fabulous resource.

Forcing my hand

I love my couches:

Covered in gorgeous Denyse Schmidt fabrics.

But when I get the urge to re-cover them, I suspect I'll be forced to use these ...

LOVE!!

Amy Butler's new range 'Soul Blossoms' in home dec weight!!!
Can't wait!!!

A new baby

Yes, our family is growing .... meet my new baby:

Photo taken with the old instamatic camera

And here is a shot of what I've been using all this time to take my photos:

Taken with the new camera with the normal lens

And with the macro lens

I'm absolutely loving the macro lens. Look at some of the shots I've been taking!!

And of course some crafty related ones:

I'm loving the detail I can get with this camera. Can't wait to do loads more experimenting!!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Just an idea

I have fallen in love with Rita's mini quilt for the Down Under Doll Quilt Swap.

I had a thought ....
What would happen if I made this quilt 9 times and stitched them together to create one large quilt?

Or ... if I made the blocks smaller but made 25 of them?

I'm liking where this is going ... although I have no time to act on it! Too much other stuff to get finished!!

My new favourite recipe

Take one canvas in desperate need of a makeover:

Add a generous helping of some gorgeous fabrics:

Take one fabulous tutorial (but with significantly increased quantities), a bloody big staple gun ... and you have this:

Best enjoyed with a freshly made bed:
