My mum came with me over a year ago to the Melbourne quilt expo and bought a quilt kit that she fell in love with.
I promised way back then to make it for her, and I've FINALLY made a start ...
I've finished the quilt top and just need to select a backing and get quilting.
It will be given in a few weeks as a house warming gift when my parents move in to their new home.
Hope you are having a great Thursday.
Andi :-)

Lovely. Was that a lot of triangle-sewing or was there some tricky fast-piecing method? I must say I'm a bit of a sucker for a bright one-patch.
ReplyDeleteLooks great...we all get to things eventually!! And it will make a lovely housewarming gift.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the most beautiful creations I have ever seen - your Mum will be delighted
