Then I found this tutorial and voila!!
An Autumn weight dress for Ella using some yummy voile.
Then I had a go at a non-gathered version using some el-cheapo stretch fabric from here.
A little ric rac added and I suspect we will have one very happy little camper!
How are you going with your change-of-season wardrobes?
Andi :-)
Very sweet indeed!!
ReplyDeleteWe never really had a decent summer here in Wellington so no change of clothing for me... think I can count on one hand the number of times I was in shorts this summer :( But I did treat myself to a new winter coat and a new trench this year in anticipation of a very cold winter.
lovely ! and gorgeous Ella too
ReplyDeleteLove them! The pink one is adorable - very mod! Question, how do you attach the rikrak - I've never used it and am just curious. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Lara, we didn't really have a decent summer so didn't need summer clothes, but this I have to try. In fact, right now. It looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteVery nice !!! The floral skirt photo doesn't do it justice - it looks even better in real life. Well done Andi!
ReplyDeleteJenny
See look at that trim in action - I tell you we will have you whiped into trim love in no time
ReplyDeleteThose dresses are cute!

I'm still in denial that Summer is over, so haven't thought about it. Although most of the items I have planned are cooler weather ones anyway, so i gues i'm doing ok.
