Problem solved

Thanks to those of you who offered solutions / ideas to this quilting problem.

In the end I decided to go with an upholstery weight fabric from Spotlight ... cheap as chips and the girl just loves it!!

It even has a bit of sparkly glitter through it!!

(Hard to photograph the sparkle ... but trust me!!)

Simply quilted and with matching binding ...

Happiness is a colourful girly picnic rug!!!

Have a stitchin' Tuesday!!

Andi :-)

Wow! I don't think I could eat my picnic sandwiches if I had that under me. I'd be too busy admiring the fabric....

One of my daughters has an apron in that fabric! Isn't it funny to see others using fabrics you have? That quilt is just so pretty! I love the fabrics you have used. So pretty and girly. And that binding is a perfect match.

The colours and fabrics are wonderful and the backing, what young lady wouldn't love a little bling.

Every picnic rug needs a bit of glitter to catch the sun. Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous - I love the colours and that binding is perfect.

Oooh Andi, this is stunning! I might have to copy those colours together in something, I love them. The backing is great, and nice that it's cheap too! I love your stripe binding. Fab job xo

I guess since it is the best pudding in the world I could pass it on. Well it is in our house anyway. I'll blog it next time I blog, so look out for it. The best thing about it is you don't need eggs so you can usually guarantee you have all the ingredients.
