The story I want to tell, I have already told before on this blog.
So, if you click on this link, you'll see all about my Grandmother's 'Grandmothers Flower Garden' quilt.

Hi Andi! I love the Flower Garden quilt. Amazing that you requilted it, what a job!
What an amazing family treasure you have. I really do love the colors of that quilt. It is different, and very elegant looking.
Wonderful story and quilt! Thanks for sharing.
Great story about your favorite quilt. Thank you for your nice comment on my pinwheel star quilt on my blog.
My favorite thing about that quilt of your grandmama's is that you put that patch on the to commemorate her work, and yours.
There IS nothing like hand quilting. The only quilt I have NOT hand quilted is the one I showed on the quilt festival. I had to have it done on machine because of the size and time restraints. Also, I figured the "pattern" was nothing to frame up, since it was just 5" patches in randomness.
Lovely, just lovely. Your grandmama would be so pleased to know you are still using that lovely quilt, and now making one for your own daughter.
No not cheating....it is called being efficient! Great work hand quilting is great
