Last week I got to have a catch-up with
this wonderful lady. Turns out she's as lovely as she is talented. I really enjoyed our chat and was totally inspired by these .....

... which I got to see IN THE FLESH!!!
The detail in the cushions is exquisite. The quilting so beautiful!
According to Kellie, "it's really easy".
So, inspired by her confidence in me, I went home and had a little try.
I ended up with this little cushion ...

It is my first attempt at '
trapunto' which wasn't so hard after hearing how Kellie does it.
This is the back ...

.... and here is a shot with my hand so you can see that it is rather small.

A lot more practice is needed but I'm enjoying the learning process.
And to top it all off, I got to meet this little man too ....

What a sweetie! I just wanted to bundle him up and take him home!
Until next time, keep practicing. I will!!
Andi :-)
